GEICO - Been a "STELLAR" 25 year NO claim driver - LIED to by Cust Serv - RATES $62/mo NOW $196/mo!!!!! - Geico Auto insurance
I had an unfortunate experience with GEICO - and an ex. Had three incidences of vandalism on my vehicle - minor stuff here - plus 1 incident where I scraped my bumper on some landscape barriers at home while backing up.
1. GEICO insists I do three (3) total claims for these just paint repairs!
a) Two are considered vandalism - comprehensive and one is considered collision - the bumper
2. Maureen the Geico emp AT THEIR PREFERRED REPAIR FACILITY which I did use told me "just call customer service about the third (the bumper) - it's only $462.00 and I doubt it will raise your rates any at all...
3. Upon the recommendation of Maureen, I did call Customer Service at GEICO on 3/30/14 - a recorded conversation - where I WAS TOLD THIS $462.00 CLAIM WILL NOT RAISE MY RATES - it is under their threshold..and this rep knows about the two complrehensive claims when he did state this!!
4. MY OLD RATE -- WAS $62.00mo with Full Coverage and $250.00 dediuctibles
5. MY NEW RATE- IS $196.00mo same coverages
I am therefore FORCED now by Geico to being stuck with them because guess what ?? They screwed me by lying to me and telling me that third claim WOULD NOT RAISE ME - then they TRIPLED my Insurance rates and I CANNOT GET INSURANCE ANYWHERE ELSE NOW. Thanks you lying deviants! I HATE you I HATE your company and I will dance on your miserable grave when you get bought out by somebody else - even if I am 100 years old when it happens - you cannot operate like this and stay afloat!
**Kicker* Now 25 years into having no claims ever - GEICO moved me to their "high risk company" - GEICO INDEMNITY - love you guys ! Cannot wait to leave you cannot wait!!!!!
